The Seer and the Sword is a relatively unknown fantasy novel. I picked it up at the library and was completely captivated by the tale it spun; of enchantments, princes and princesses, and evil leaders out to satisfy greed. This book would be especially delectable to anyone who is fond of Arthurian-type legends or even fantasy writing in general. The main characters, Princess Torina and Landen, are wonderfully noble, but not impossibly so. They meet at a young age but are separated by a horrid crime, and must find each other to save their country from ruin. You will grow to love the characters and the exciting story. I would recommend this to ages 11 and up, due to advanced vocabulary and some very evil characters.
